چکیده

As pests are an important factor in reducing crop yields, pest control is measure preventing reductions yields. With the aim of ending use chemical pesticides, biological and genetically modified methods now considered more reasonable strategies. The bacterium Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) can produce crystal proteins that have specific toxicity to lepidopteran insects, so it has been applied as a microbial insecticide for several decades. development plant genetic engineering, Bt genes encoding insecticidal protein introduced into many species control. This article indicates that, after years experiments research, transgenic rice close becoming commercial insect-resistant rice, studies shown pronounced abilities such yellow stem borers (Scirpophaga incertulas, YSB), striped (Chilo suppressalis, SSB), leaf rollers (Cnaphalocrocis medinalis, RLR); moreover, does not obviously differ from non-transgenic terms safety. paper suggests application potential value.
